It’s great to clap your hands to the best. In golf we know that the winner is the one who has the best results playing clean all the time.

The ethics of golf are preserved in every competition and always linked to the spirit of the game. Winning by cheating or violating the rules may be allowed in other sports, but never in golf. That’s why we golfers are not shy about applauding the best.

At the recent CJGA Circuit Tournament played at Bathust Glen Golf Club we can all applaud our representatives Cynthia Sun U12 Division Champion, Chloe Wang U9 Division Champion, Haomiao Fu third place U10 Division and Ethan Kong third place U14 division, everyone has been training hard and deserves to receive this reward.

I clapped for Cynthia’s Hole-In-One on hole 6 of PAR 3, with 145 Yards. A feat that will stay in her memory for the rest of her life. Something very difficult for the vast majority of golfers Cynthia accomplished today on the beautiful 6th hole of the Bathusrt Glen Golf Club course.

When Cynthia reached the 14th hole, a session of double bogeys began that lasted until the 18th hole. But it was not a golf tragedy. Cynthia closed the last 5 holes at 10 strokes over par. She ended the day with a score of 80 and Champion by 10 strokes from second place.

Little Chloe Minnie started with par and on the second hole she made a three putt. In the sequence, there were 4 more three-put greens, 3 double bogeys, two bogeys, three pars and a wonderful bierdie on the 9th hole. After two safe stages, a third and second place, Chloe finally took home the U9 Division Champion awards .

Ethan and Haomiao were not champions in the tournament, but they had an impressive proof of improvement, fundamental in their golf.

Gritting their teeth in adversity and without losing their joy, with the certainty that wielding a club on a golf course already makes us lucky, our little champions responded with sportsmanship to the challenge, and the spirit of golf was radiant.LMGS has the mission of discovering junior talent in golf, transforming them into players and training them to be competitors.
