The Casa Victoria Restaurant was once again the venue for the LM Golf School Closing Dinner and Awards Ceremony
The annual LM Golf School Closing Dinner and Awards Ceremony was held on Friday, November 14, at Restaurante Casa Victoria and was once again a great success. For any junior golfer, standing beside the Girls vs Boys Championship trophy is a powerful moment. It represents a long history shaped by memorable performances, legendary players, and emotions that continue to inspire new generations.
For most participants, the idea of lifting the Girls vs Boys Challenge Trophy as champions feels almost unreal. It echoes the achievements of past players who built the legacy of this event, many of whom evolved from talented juniors into respected leaders of the game, each driven by their own ambitions and passion for golf.
The Girls vs Boys Challenge between Brazil and Bolivia began in 2012, inspired by Coach Luiz’s vision of uniting two countries with strong golfing traditions. Hosted alternately by each nation over several years, the competition quickly became one of the most successful and meaningful junior golf events in Latin America.
The LMGS team from Bolivia was the first to lift the tournament trophy at La Paz Golf Club. Over time, each country recorded four victories, with neither team ever losing when competing at home. Many players who took part in those early competitions later progressed to professional tours and continue to compete internationally, pursuing careers at the highest levels of the sport.
Rather than focusing on results from this year’s event, it is more important to recognize every participant as a winner. Each athlete contributed to a celebration of commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship, supported by the guidance of the Coach and the dedication of their families throughout the 2025 season.
The LM Golf School family was strongly represented at the event, with approximately 120 attendees. This outstanding presence contributed greatly to the success of the evening and ensured it will remain a lasting memory for everyone involved.
With the conclusion of this celebration, the golf season officially came to an end. For LMGS students and families, events organized under this tradition represent far more than competition. They symbolize friendship, enthusiasm, and a shared love for the game, along with anticipation for the next season.
