Bryan College Athletic Department announced Andres Arteaga as a part of the official 2019 Spring Athletic Honor Roll, which takes into consideration all varsity and junior varsity student-athletes. In order for a student-athlete to make the list, he/she needs to have recorded a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher for the spring term.
In total, 158-of-309 made the cut, led by the baseball team's 29 total players with a 3.3 GPA or higher.
Following were men's soccer with 25, volleyball with 19, softball with 17, women's soccer with 12, and tallying the only other double-digit was women's basketball with 11.
Rounding out the list were women's golf with nine, men's basketball with nine, both men's golf and women's cross country & track and field serving up seven apiece, cheer with six, and the duo of men's cross country & track and field and fishing having five made the list, respectively.

Andy as he’s called, proved his potential not only as a player but also as an academic student. A total of eight programs recorded grade-point averages 3.0 and above, while Andres Arteaga of mens golf team, netted GPA's 3.3 or better. As a department, the LM Golf School congrats to Andy for one more ACE in your golf carreer. Keep going Andy!!!
