LUCAS MIYASAKI WINS LMGS PUTTING COMPETITION AT MARKHAM GOLF DOME

Following the sports schedule to 2020, LMGS organized this weekend a Putter Competition at the Markham Golf Dome. At the putting green students could enjoy an authentic golf tournament where they can play almost like a professional golfer.

They prepare strategy, study the trajectory of each shot, try to read the unevenness of the terrain and calculate the strength of their shot on each hole of the 18 in total on the putting green. They then place the ball in the starting location and then try to make as few putts as possible to put the ball in the hole. This was not a difficult task for Lucas Miysaki who finished the course with 32 strokes (-4) to take first place in the competition followed by Harry Feng with (33) who came in second for the best round on the tiebreaker, John Yang with 33 came in third and Yuhong also with 33 came in fourth.

Lucas Miyasaki was able play 4 under par, which gave him the title of the putting competition. Lucas trains and follows with much dedication the teaching program of his Coach Luiz Martins, Director of Education at LM Golf School. Lucas attends at least 10 times a month at the Markham Golf Dome for his private lessons to learn all about golf and to discover and develop his personal skills to better play his role as a children's player, always accompanied by his Coach.

In the guest category Rulian Martins was the winner with 27 strokes (-9) followed by Alissa Gremeberg who secured second place with 31 strokes (-5). All students and guests must be congratulated for their participation. We hope to count on the presence of everyone in the next event that will come next month.
